What Matters in the End

Another quote from my bulletin board of wisdom.  It just fits at the end of a week like this one.  Somehow it's human nature (or at least my nature) to focus on the end to the exclusion of the journey.  But the reality is that sometimes the end you have in mind isn't the end you end up with.  And sometimes that's for the best.

"It is good to have an end to journey toward; 

but it is the journey that matters, in the end."
